Bible Verse of the Day

VERSE OF THE DAY

Galatians 1:6-10

Preaching a false gospel has eternal damnation tied as a consequence. Paul clearly states his reputation in the eyes of man is worthless compared to upholding the Gospel and God’s Truth. A sure sign of a false preacher is this : He desires to please man over pleasing God. He seeks the glory of man and not the glory of God.

Psalm 1:3-6

The righteous person is like a tree planted by streams (or rivers) of water. Jesus is the living water, and whoever drinks of the water that Jesus gives will never be thirsty again. The water given by Jesus becomes in the believer a spring of water welling up to eternal life.

The benefits are always for the believer who is rooted in Christ:

  1. He yields fruit in season.
  2. His leaf will not wither.
  3. He prospers. All that he does for the Lord will store eternal treasures—true prosperity.

On the other hand, the wicked, not being rooted, are blown away like chaff when the storms of life hit. Their delusion is that they can control their destiny and keep their lives from falling apart. This is a fallacy that fallen humanity believes as true when they reject Christ and accept the lies of their master, the devil, who is the father of lies and only seeks to rob, kill, and destroy—even his ardent followers.

Exodus 2: 1-10

God’s miraculous provision for those that act on their faith.

The wisdom given to the child Miriam to hover around the river bed to see what transpires with the baby – be it for his safety.

As soon as the baby’s found by the Pharoah’s daughter, Miriam is quick to appear from hieing and suggest that one of the Hebrew mothers would play the nurse for the “disowned” child – and ultimately has Moses’ own mother become the nurse and guardian to her own child – and get paid for it too! (Verse 9).

God’s miraculous ways are never lost on those who follow and obey him.
